Throwdown Surf Classic is brought to you by the Throwdown Youth Foundation, a 501c3 Nonprofit Organization. We are the Outer Banks largest family surfing event. Each year our community comes together to help us raise money to give back and support a local need.
What you can expect?
The event is held each year at Chichauk Beach Access in Southern Shores, North Carolina. Surfers range from the age of 5 -18 years of age. The day begins with prayer, and the first heat is around 8:00am. Throughout the day we will run 15 heats for boys and girls. The day concludes with our annual awards ceremony to celebrate the stoke of the day.
All proceeds raised on the beach through food, merchandise and our silent auction, will go to support the Outer Banks Relief Foundation and their efforts to support those going through difficult circumstances in our community.
